Scada and electricity data captured
Scada gsm
All the SCADA systems irrespective of field where they implied rely on
same principle. These systems are employed for remote management of
critical processes.
These systems have central room/system to manage all these processes
with the help of computers and communication networks. The
remote sensors collect the data at specific interval of time which is
predefined and then sends this data to central system which processes
the data collected.
Thus, main components of SCADA system can be zeroed into three
components: Hardware (for input and output), PLCs (Programmable Logic
Converters, which determines the responses SCADA system issues when
some error is detected) and Transmission media (through which data
collected is sent to central system through remote
terminals). Though various modes of media are used like
Ethernet, internet or wireless but radio transmission has always been
cost effective solutions.

SCADA stands for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. SCADA can be
thought of as a system which is designed to collect data from the
sensors located in remote locations, such as various areas of a plant,
factory or at any other remote location and then sending the data
collected to a main computer which controls and manages the data.
SCADA has finds its application in wide range of industries from
electric power, water management systems, environmental control
systems, mass transportation or manufacturing systems.
A SCADA system can be divided into following parts: Signal hardware
(for both output as well as input), controllers, user interface (also
known as HMI), networks, and software along with communication
equipment. In general, SCADA means entire system with the common goal
to collect, manage and control the data. |

No one can doubt the way, SCADA systems have transformed the way
automated tasks were use to get performed. Just due to SCADA systems,
various automated tasks have become more reliable and
efficient.
As these systems don't require or a very little human intervention and
are able to handle most of impermissible states, they have also cut the
costs of maintenance and trouble shooting. Due to high degree of
reliability, efficiency and flexibility, these SCADA systems have found
themselves in almost most every realm of automated tasks.
SCADA systems are now widely used in control systems (like water
control systems, sewerage control systems) or even in daily equipments
like water metering pumps. The extent to which automated tasks have
become dependent on SCADA systems cab be judged from this fact that
SCADA in the electricity industry has become a necessity.
